Russell was an Olympic-quality high jumper. His personal best was 2.06m, which would have put him in contention for a medal at the 1956 Olympics.

Bill and Wilt were both incredible athletes.  It is why they are two of the greatest players ever and still today are talked about so highly from both older and newer fans.

Russel, wilt and Kareem have to be the 3 greatest centers of all time. Shaq could have been, if he stayed in shape, he was content to dominate an era light on star centers, while carrying a lot of fat.

 Shocking is unnecessary Moranis, Many people are not as old as you, and don't know that he was an Olympic High jumper. And that's besides the point that clip is unreal, how may Centers do you see make that play. None.

I think it is a myth that guys today can jump higher.   I could jump much higher than any of the high schoolers my sons played against  but we didn't have xbox growing up and played outside.
