Per 36:
Wallace 5.5 / 9.2
Brooks 9.4 / 15.3
and....
let's keep in mind that this season brooks has logged a total of 73 minutes spread over 10 games. sss makes me wonder about the value of the stats above.
per 36 for his first two seasons (a total of 2,560 minutes) he averaged about 4.2 rebounds a game.
nothing to write home about.
I really hate that Brooks doesn't do anything else but score. Kind of like Jeff Green of the old except far worse since Brooks is ball stopping and doesn't defend at all (unless the past 4 games of aggressive rebounding and aggressive defense and energy are anomalies for JG...which would suck).
Still. I wouldn't be surprised if Brooks makes the team look more bearable, hell, he might even improve the team.
And Gerald Wallace is in for defense and energy. But lately he's been sleeping on D and bringing less energy (slept on Jared Dudley and Harrison Barnes on 3's, was ugly).
And, hell, against Houston Brooks looked halfway decent. Might be wishful thinking but his defense and effort looked better and he stopped the ball less.
I thought Keith Bogans actually played pretty well, too, and brought more than Crash did.
Don't really care whether Stevens plays Brooks or Bogans. Bench Wallace. I thought Crash was supposed to be a consummate professional. Getting real tired of your
