How bout Danny Granger. He looks healthy now and will obviously want to prove that he is back. ? He ain't want to be always playing behind George now would he.

Some players would take less money to be a sixth man on a contender rather than a starter on a non-playoff team.

I would do a trade like this.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=luol2ax

The Wizards are in a playoff push mode.  This should help (with Ariza's play not as strong as early in the season)

The Suns are in a playoff push and this helps without changing money on the book for next season.

Celtics role the die on Porter and cut Wallace's salary.

Basic

Boston:  Out Green, Wallace and Humphries

in:  Porter, Okafor, Seraphin and Temple

Wiz:  out Ariza, Porter, Seraphin and Templ

in Green and Wallace

Suns: out Okafor

in:  Ariza and Humphries.  Would likely have to throw in a pick.

Why would Washington do this?

Gallinari is out for the season.

Anyone interested in Gallo plus maybe Anthony Randolph?

Who knows what Gallinari is going to be when he comes back or even when he gets back. We're probably going to pay 1/2 of his remaining contract just while he's rehabbing.

This deal, even if it's just straight up for Galliari, puts us over the luxury tax.

That's a lot of financial flexibility just for the hope that Gallinari will come back and be better than Green for 1+ seasons.
