If Ainge is trading to get better (Asik), why don't or didn't the Celts make a run at a legit frontcourt player like Millsap in the off season?

You lose Garnett Pierce Terry and RAllen. Where did all the money go???????????

You realize that in trades, you need to match salaries, correct?

You can figure out "where all the money went" using an Internet-enabled PC and about as much as it took you to type this post.

Oh, come on! Give him a hint. :)

Wallace, Humphries, Bogans and Brooks.

The C's are something like $150,000 under the Hard Cap, so they are very, very, strapped down. They can't take on any new money.

Danny needs to send out more money than he takes back in any trades.

Humphries and Bogans expire at the end of this year freeing up $17.5 million, but that is probably going to be eaten up with contracts for Bradley, Crawford, draft picks, etc. The C's are going to remain pretty constrained for the foreseeable future.
