The Lakers recently called the Knicks to "express their interest" in trading for Iman Shumpert, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.

The Knicks would reportedly "consider" trading Tyson Chandler if a team also took J.R. Smith in the deal.  ( jr smith cant be traded intill jan 15 )

Sources say the Lakers also are interested in another Knicks player -- center Tyson Chandler. The Lakers did not inquire about Chandler when they called about Shumpert, but they are weighing whether to propose a Pau Gasol-for-Chandler trade, according to sources.

i think chandler gets traded.  boxscoregeeks.com called it earlier this season.  i think boston has enough to get it done, but regardless, chandlers getting traded.

I would take a Chandler - JR Smith trade. I wouldnt sell the farm for them but that would be interesting.

I dont know what could get it done...

Humphries, Wallace(to match salaries?), Crawford or Brooks and a first round pick?

Rondo/Bradley/Green/Sully/Chandler

JR Smith, Bass as 6th and 7th men... Thats a nice line up right there.

why would you give up a 1st round pick in a trade that doesn't make Boston a contender or even all that close to one?
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

That lineup puts us top three in the weak east easily. Chandlers influence on defense is completely underrated. Rondo and Bradley in the back court is a great defensive combo, Green and Sully play the offense game, Chandler commands the defense and plays the pick and roll lob game with Rondo perfectly. Smith is a sparkplug scorer off the bench, Bass plays the tough guy role.

Rondo/Pressey
Bradley/Lee
Green/Smith
Sully/Olynk
Chandler/Faverani

Strong 9 man rotation. Diverse squad that can run, D up very well, and score. I can see that team easily matching up with Miami and giving them a great run.

I'd love a team like that
