  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Portland needs bench help desperately.
T Rob and Leonard are both underachievers but they're both young, and both recent lottery picks.

Bass ($6.75 million)
for
Thomas Robinson (3.5 million)
&
Meyers Leonard (2.5 million).

Saves us 1 million per year & they both have team options in 2015.

Have posted this elsewhere and Blazers fans seem okay with it.

We could then have a big rotation of Sully,Leonard,Robinson, Vitor and Olynyk.
Great trade assets with upside & expiring at the end of next season.

Can someone call Ainge now and tell him this is good to go?
 ;)
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

^^ I like Leonard as a kid that's hardworking & doesn't afraid to get physical and put a body on his man

but Bass really step it up this season, he's our leading rebounder most of the games and he's a threat in mid-range and very good 1-1 defensive player... so I'm looking to sell high on Bass ;D

There was a topic with a trade like that before
http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=68439.0

I'm also waiting to sell high (or at least a bit higher :P) on Bass, which has a good chance to happen nextseason. I'm not a believer in Robinson, Leonard maybe could become something a little better.
Goal for next season: Top 2 seed.
Say goodbye to: Turner, Zeller, Sully.
