1. Brad Stevens is sometimes really SLOW in making adjustments on the fly.  In that disastrous third quarter, he stuck with a line up that clearly wasn't working and keep going back to Sully, who clearly was not ON in that game.  Vitor was playing well, but Brad didn't play him much after his hot start.  He certainly was playing better than Sully last night from watching the game.

2. Hump played a great game, but I have NEVER seen a big man set WORSE screens in my life.  It is like he is afraid of making contact when setting the pick!!  On the other hand, Vitor sets amazing screens (does tend to move a little too much, but getting MUCH better at not doing that)!!

3. I am saddened by Stevens NOT allowing Bradley to perform his infamous one man press.  It would have worked wonders vs. Lawson before he went out and could have tired him out.

4. Pressey is an NBA player!!!  He is unbelievably fast.  How tall is he really?  Nate Robinson is listed a 5'9" and he looked a little shorter than Nate.

Stevens is all about the process and not overreacting to small samples.  So your first observation is not surprising.

I think details like the weak screens are the reason Humphries doesn't see the floor much unless Sullinger or Olynyk is injured / dealing with fouls.

As fun as the 'one man press' is, I don't think it's something Bradley can really do long term.  It gets him into foul trouble, and it causes him to expel so much energy on defense that I think it detracts from his offense.  The Cs need Bradley to score.

Pressey is fun to watch at times, but he needs to develop a really solid jumpshot if he wants to stick around.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Great points!!  Stevens is a process guy, but he could improve on making in-game adjustments a little more quickly IMHO!!

I am not asking for Avery to one man press every game, as we do need his energy on offense right now.  But, last night would have been a good time for it, especially whey Ty starting getting hot before leaving early.

2. To me when Hump sets a screen it is more to free himself on the roll than to free the other guy. I expect Bass to be traded, at which point Hump will play a lot and play well.

3. I love the full court press from Bradley as well. I think it actually hurts his market value that he hasn't been able to do it anymore. It makes sense that they need him to play extended minutes and need him to score so they can't have him full court. Hopefully when Rondo comes back it will slightly reduce Bradley's minutes as well as his important to the offense, maybe then they will allow him to do it once more.

4. So this is what I thought too, after seeing them next to each other. Then my friend pointed out a later possession where Pressey looked taller. I think the first angle that made Pressey look shorter was due to the angle of the camera.
