I would even consider giving up Green for Turner.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Turner is having a heck of a year for the Sixers whereas Jeff Green is…Jeff Green.

Now you see him, now you don't.

Jeff Green has a 15.3 eff. rating compared to Turner's 16.5.  Not a HUGE difference IMHO.

For people who like WS48 more than PER, Green leads that .108 to .061

I personally love WS/48, as long as you're comparing players who play a similar position at similar minutes.

Every 76ers fan is hoping that ET gets traded for anything of value and is stoked that he has upped his value. None seem to want him to stay and that says something. Well, I might have to wonder about the b-ball IQ of some of the liberty ballers bloggers then.  Whenever I have watched him play, he is always giving 110% even when many of his teammates are NOT.  He is a solid defender and is VERY STRONG for a SG.  I would want him playing as a SG with us ideally.  I am not ready to give up on Jeff Green just yet.  I am quickly tiring of seeing Bradley launch long jump shots very EARLY in the shot clock.  Also, is it just me, or is Bradley not bringing the same level of pressing intense defense this year???

This is the second time someone's used opinions of other fan bases as if it meant anything. (First time was in a Rondo to Pistons discussion, fwiw)

No. Its because Philly is abysmal in def. and they r just trying to outscore their opp. They r shopping ET,Tad Young and Hawes. ET got no 3 point range and his "solid def" made Caron Butler looks like MJ last week.
Also he'll be a restricted agent next year and he wants DOLLAZ. Would you pay him 8-9M?

They got rid of Holiday who was the #1 scoring option.  Turner just stepped into that role this year.  He has increased his 2 point efficiency a bit, but it much less effective from 3 this year.  His other stats are all about the same, so it really is about him just taking a few more shots a game and hitting them at a slightly better rate as the #1 scoring option.

Physically, I think Turner would be a quality starting 2 on a contending team. He's had a bit more of a big-man timetable as far as improving his game since he's come in the NBA, but he seems to finally be living up to his draft pick.

I haven't liked him as much at the 3 (especially on defense), but that's just the eye test after watching him play a handful of games.

My major concern is that he wouldn’t be an ideal fit next to Rondo because he is a poor 3pt shooter. In any case, he is definitely an upgrade over Bradley.

Funny how people look at things differently. I'm the opposite, I've been very hard on AB in the past but he is changing my mind this year. I like it when he takes a good shot early, even more important is that he is making them. And no I don't think his defense of pressure is less this year, right now I'm inclined to keep him. This summer I would have packaged him.
