To continue to add to the following theme, we need new role players.

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=67561.0

Sullinger now evolves into the '84, pre-injury Bill Cartwright, borderline star center. Thus, we remove any opponents the ability for easy layups & control the middle.

Crawford, given recent turn of events, becomes Isiah Thomas and can back up Rondo as Stockton, so that we can run 'n gun, all day long against most teams.

And finally, when the game is slowed down by elite defensive teams, like the Pacers or the Spurs, we turn to the King, to close out Q4 with a barrage of points in the post, in the perimeter, and anywhere in-between.

That's championship basketball and we've got all the pieces now, plus a few role players down the road, to provide the depth needed for 7 game series.

What's the point of this thread?

You obviously don't believe your own premise, because nobody believes that a guy who has six double-digit assist games in a four year career is the equivalent of Isiah Thomas.

I thought we already established that Rondo as Stockton and Green as King would lose to Chris Quinn as Bill Russell.

Much as I like Rondo, you'd have to start Isiah over Stockton.
