Why would the Knicks trade Chandler?
Why would the Celtics want Chandler? He's an aging, complementary piece who will be completely useless on a team that's not going anywhere for a couple of years.
You mean sort of like Gerald Wallace only with less year on the contract?

No point. Unless we were close to contention

Except we didn't trade for Gerald Wallace. We traded for the three picks and getting Wallace was an unfortunate byproduct. My point still stands.

Well if you trade away Wallace and Lee for Chandler you aren't actually trading for Chandler you are trading for future cap flexibility and cash savings. Of course Fav and a pick would probably have to be included but now my point still stands. ;D
