I think it's more like Stevens is a rookie coach with an unbalanced roster and 3 tasks: tank, develop and showcase.

We won't have a real rotation until after the trade deadline, when Rondo is back and 100% healthy, and some of the current Celtics are not Celtics anymore.

Rondo is more than capable of running the team, and I have no doubt he'd do better than chucker diva Kobe, or jerk tool MJ. But it wouldn't be good for the team, for Rondo or Stevens.

Green has to be Green, and anybody questioning Jeff Green's heart should "engage brain before typing". Of course he shouldn't overthink and everybody would love him to be more agressive, but it's nothing about the heart, it's more about his cerebral approach to the game. I want Green to keep fighting for rebounds, boxing out, blocking shots and helping the team in any way, not just score by taking more shots out of the flow of the game. If the ball moves well and they get it to him in his spot, he can score at will. But he shouldn't be a chucker. That's why Bill Russell is the GOAT, he thanked his teammates for letting him help them to win and be champions. Russell and Auerbach should be our models, not Pat Riley or Michael Jordan. Celtic Ball and Celtic Pride.

We have all questioned certain people being benched and different rotations that don't put us at the best advantage to win games so far.

So my question is.....Do any of you think that with the high regard Stevens has for Rondo that possibly Rondo himself is calling the shots and inserting the players that he wants to work with upon his return???

Hump and Pressey are going to be this board's "guys that would have us undefeated if only they would play" for the rest of the year.

I think that's what you would like to happen so you have something to rant about. I don't think anyone is saying Stevens is wrong for not playing them but it might be a credible question to ask him at a press conference only because Hump and Pressey have been playing pretty good. I'm sure he's got his reasons but i'm also sure none of us would be against him sharing a little!!!

Reporter to Stevens at a press conference: Why isn't Pressey and Humphries getting playing time?

Stevens to reporter: Have you seen them in practice?

Reporter to Stevens: No.

Stevens to reporter: Next question!

I don't know what he has to say besides he thinks playing the players he is playing is the better option.  He doesn't have to defend his rotations point by point.  When have you seen a coach EVER do this?

Especially for an undrafted rookie.
