Sad news...one of the greatest Celtics players and the best shooting guard of his generation died today. :(

That's really sad - RIP Bill.  I'm way too young to have watched him play but I read a lot of stories about Bill and the other Celtics greats.

Sharman died?

Man, that's a bummer. Helluva SG & a key part of some of those early Celtics championship teams.  Career .883% FT shooter too.

RIP Mr. Sharman.  A true Celtic and a true champion.  Had the pleasure of meeting him in person a couple times although I ma too young to have ever seen him play - very nice guy. Sad news   :(

Very sad news, not only for us as C's fans but also for the Lakers organization. A sad day for anyone who appreciates the history of the game of basketball. For anyone who knows what once was.
