Just thinking about value we could get in return for Rondo and/or Green and the Milwaukee Bucks.

What would the Bucks give up for a combo of Rondo and Jeff Green?
It would be very difficult for them, but would they give us:

*Larry Sanders John Henson- 99% sure they ain't giving LS
*Giannis
*Knight
*Salary filler of Butler,Delfino.

for

Rondo (sign and traded)
Jeff Green
Avery Bradley (sign and traded).

Would they do Sanders for Rondo straight up or Sanders for Rondo+Bradley?
Sanders is only 24, and Giannis is looking awesome so far. Guy is 18 lol.

If they won't give up Sanders we could also ask for Henson+Giannis+fillers for Rondo and Green.
Bucks are a very solid drafting team- they've always drafted well for a team that never hits the stink pile and never gets past the first round.

What are peoples thoughts on what they'd give up for Rondo and Green? Take off the green glasses too before too crazy.

They just signed Sanders to a big extension.  I don't think they are giving up on him anytime soon.

I'd rather hope that Sanders becomes a problem and the Celtics can acquire him to play next to Rondo.

That's pretty much all of their valuable assets, save for Ilyasova (seriously, those are probably the three most promising players on that team).  Probably a bit too steep of a price to pay for another first-round exit team.

Trading Rondo should Result in a high pick, salary relief, young buildable talent, or a combination of those. I dont want star for star swaps. We're blowing it up and rebuilding this isn't simply a bridge year.

Agreed.  I don't think Rondo needs to be traded at all, but if Ainge decides to go that route, I think going the Orlando route (trading for prospects) would be more successful than trying to reload on the fly.

Sanders is 24. Much more time for him to develop with our draft picks. Giannis is 18. I believe Henson is 20.

We'd still stink, but they're all building blocks that actually speed up the rebuild process if we go through with it.

Sanders has much higher trade value than Rondo right now.

If trading rondo is the plan

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mlvnphp

bucks add their first this year likely 15-20.

This is a tough call for both teams

Bucks take on a lot of $$$ but with Rondo being healthy they are a dangerous and well rounded playoff team.

PG Rondo
SG Mayo
SF Walace
PF Ilyasova
C  Sanders
6th Neal
7th Pachulia
8th Ridnour

The Celtics go into free fall but clear up a big chunk of long term money and add nice assets. Henson has tons of potential and adds great length to the young big man rotation.
