NBA League Pass early bird discount?

I know we aren't going to be as exciting as years past but I'll still be getting NBA LP this year to watch my C's. Does anybody who have DirecTv know if they offer some kind of early bird special around this time? Also do they usually air preseason games?

I figure I'd ask the folks here before I make the call. I saw the guide and it shows our scheduled upcoming preseason game Monday but not sure if it will really air or it's just in there.

I have no idea about DirecTV but I got something in the mail earlier this week from RCN  telling me about the early bird LP for this season.

The early bird price is $189.99 for me! That definitely went up from prior years. Wasn't the early bird like $159.99 or $169.99 in the past? 

Peeves me off but being out of market & with less of our games on national tv this year, I'll end up getting it.
