Details are great but they can't make up for being physically overmatched or just not having the same level of talent. That could b the case for this team many times so yeah it will be interesting to see how this goes.

i know there is a difference between college and the nba.  But you can make those same remarks about the Butler teams that he coached and he still thrived.

Not saying we're gonna be a successful team this year, because we wont be, but I also won't just dismiss his coaching methods bc some feel he has inferior talent.

I thought AB was out for training camp. Was kind of confused when I was scrolling through Celtics practice updates (bostonceltics is the official youtube account of the team).

Seems the C 's have some guys who like rebound ,  this is part of the game I enjoy the most , watching players do work down low  on both ends , not just defense.

Yeah no it sounds like the players r happy w his approach so far and I really hope it works. But I'm a little worried that this sounds like something that can work in college where guys are still learning the game more so than in the pros where habits are already in place and the motivation for a player to change is low - especially if the team is not contending.

Last night I spoke with a local basketball coach who attended one of the morning sessions, and he was very impressed with the way Stevens ran his practice.  No nonsense, very efficient, good intensity, players working all the time.  FWIW.
