Interesting to note that Sully was taken out of the advertisement which says 2013-14 Season Tickets On Sale Now. He has been replaced by Bradley which anyone who visits the site often enough would know. Interestingly enough whoever runs the website pulled Sully's image quick, yet their roster page is always late.

PR 101.  Protect the brand.  Smart move.  Sad development all around.

Good eye for detail.  TP.

I kind of knew it would be about Sully.

The reason for the roster page being late compared to changing a picture is probably because...there's more information on the roster as opposed to just a pic. Wrong information on the rosters, wrong players on the rosters could have the IT and marketing guys in trouble.

Hopefully the Sully incident is not too big a deal. He seems like one of the good guys in the league, very grounded.

thanks celticdog. I wish I snagged the image beforehand I was contemplating it because I liked the 9 (rondo), 8 (green) and 7 (sully). I also found it interesting that bradley wasn't being advertised, oh well. maybe someone else saved it so it can lend credence to my words.

I understand your points, my issue being why are Wilcox and Iverson still on the page, while Faverani and Pressey aren't, i.e. those with guaranteed money. I'm more curious given the fact that Fab and Donte switched places the same day on the roster page.

I'd still say it's because of logistics. Behind the scenes stuff. Contracts becoming official at a certain date. Celtics.com is an official site so there'd probably be some (minor) legal implications to misinformation. So I'm guessing they'd play it real safe.

Then factor in the fact that there'd at least be some lag between the publishing and the fact that the website is probably not high up in their list of priorities.

Pure educated speculation on my part, though, so no need to take it too serious.
