He riminds me of Jared Jefferies on paper. Looks more "manly" than him on tape.  With our team as is I think he is a question mark.  Agree with the t will comparison in career terms, but I liked t will :)

A lightly larger TWill seems right. Dunks are nice but he needs to demonstrate he can defend at a high level to have any shot of making the team. Even if he does, his contract puts them over the lux tax limit, but as a non-guaranteed contract, he is the most logical to cut.

You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

This guy is 6'9, not 6'11.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+tall+is+donte+greene

Believe it or not I did actually google his height before posting. Seemed too good to be true.

He's a "Beasley 6'11". Beasley is also listed at 6'10 but is closer to 6'8. Meanwhile Donte Greene is 6'9 (and has 6'10 dinosaur arms to boot).

I thought we were getting a potential Earl Clark. A massive small forward.

Turns out Greene is just another tweener forward without a true position. Also seems to me he's a bit of an athlete playing basketball (but I've only been watching highlights).

Still talented, being somewhat oversized, but not as talented as listed and in my opinion not worth the time or effort.

Usually I don't care about minute differences in measurements but basically the sole reason I (and I'm sure a few others) are somewhat enamored by Greene is his measurements. A bit disappointing.

He's not as tall as Thompson, that's for sure. 6'11" would be ridiculous with his jumpshot, but 6'9" is plenty tall enough for his position.
