Just to start off with, I believe all 5 of these guys will be out of the league soon. The only question is who will be the first to go. This is a tough call imo, but I go with Oden. I don't see him lasting past this season.

yep, he's neck and neck with Oden for the 1st to go in my view. I see KG being revived in Brooklyn with a chance to compete for another ring or two, so I believe he plays another 2-3 years.

I think KG may be last. TD could play a while too. He's obviously on PEDs.  They remind me a little of Brett Farve. "I love this game.  How much money? Yeah. I'm gonna keep playing"

Oden
Bynum
Amare
KG
Duncan

KG and Duncan are old horses that will run until their mind tells them to stop; Whereas Oden, Bynum and Amare all are knee and bone breaks away from retiring; And once they fall all the kings horses and men cannot fix them up again (think Brandon Roy);
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

You would suspect TD to be on PEDS?  He would be the last person I would suspect.

KG and Duncan will retire in the same offseason, bar injuries.
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

[Kevin Garnett]

As a Celtics fan, Garnett will retire first among them. Duncan isn't far off.

Next is Stoudemire, followed by Bynum and then Oden.

I think it'll be Duncan if the Spurs slip back to the pack this year.  1 year, maybe 2.

I think KG will retire at the end of the current deal.
2 years.

Amare is at least in it for the rest of his contract
2 years. probably 3 -- make good deal that shows he's not healthy enough to make good.

Oden--3 years. I think it'll take that long for the injuries to just set in and look irreversable where he just gives it up.

Bynum - 7 years.  he just seems like the type to milk the paydays as long as he can.  I think he'll be healthy enough to continue getting contracts from teams hoping he's finally ready to really contribute that season.  It'll be at least 7 years of non-productivity before GMs stop paying him (although I really suspect GM's will offer to pay him for another 10 years).

I hate to say it, but I think it will be KG who is the 1st to retire.  I think even though the nets look good on paper, I just feel there is a lot that could go wrong for their team & season.  If the Nets aren't a contender this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see KG retire at the end of this season.

(Especially if PP doesn't resign with the Nets after this year.)

Oden , Bynum and Amare will be in the league longer than the two old guys IMO. Based on their contracts, KG and TD will retire at the same time (in 2015), along with Nash, Ginobili and Chauncey.

Then, Kobe, PP, VC, Dirk and Rayray will retire a year or two after them. It's time to be hyped for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Hall of Fame speeches! ;D
