Is this Lebron or Sully in high school? Lol. Just found this. Don't know if it's been posted. Kid was a BEAST in HS. For someone who's said to not have a lot of lift he played above the rim in HS. Don't know if it's weight or the bad back that grounded him but having this Sully would be wicked!  ;D

Sully isn't more explosive there he is just playing without the fear of a shot blocker.

He was defiantly a little more agile back then. Having back issues the last few years has hurt his game. Hopefully the surgery makes him play a little looser and wont have to worry about his back anymore.

Now I can see the Barkley comparisons, but Sir Charles was doing that against Hakeem, Patrick, Smits, Shaq etc. And Sully has changed his game accordingly as the competition gets better, but this kid can really make his name known around the league if all goes well.

Exactly.  Bigs that can move and have skill can really own HS basketball.

Not only is he considerably more explosive, but he also moves like a SF. Too bad he couldn't really maintain his weight very effectively last year.

I think he will be a Lot more active and will jump higher and more often than anything we've seen him do so far on thenCeltics.
he said he couldn't jump like he wanted with his back ,  he dreaded to jump because of the pain , so his game looked flat footed .

I m hoping , just as Howard finally got better at La near the end of the season,  so willSully for the Celtics.....

I don't think we have seen anywhere near his ability or best game yet.    He was playing in pain .

I'm thinking he 'll be balling like crazy come Feb or March .   it just may take a few more months to get  himself into playing shape and his timing back.

He reminds me of a Sir Charles ......somebody who also had back issues eventually

"Celtics rookie Jared Sullinger attributes much of his basketball development to his three older brothers: James and Julian Sullinger, and Kevin Garnett."

crazy now that KG is gone, sully must be affected by it.

Don't really see him as more explosive then

Put him with high school kids now and he'd be more explosive. Especially if you jist weed out 30 highlight dunks.

I love the range even tho I already knew he had it.

Anyway look at his dad, its going to be hard to maintain a high school sized body with those genes. Thats just a fact.

I'd rather him work on his basketball game than just focusing on shedding pounds

Most NBA players were Beasts in high school.
Sully lost a bit of agility, but he's still a very smart player, knows how to use his body.

He's gonna be a celtic for years to come.

That makes me wonder if his back was taking some of his lift away.  I think it was that video of his training work with the Celtics trainer where he said last year Sullinger was dragging his foot when he walked, he had nerve problems in that leg from his back and they are working on drills to get those nerves firing again.

It would be nice to get a more explosive Sully back next year.
