Give Detroit sports fans a break.  I expect them to be suffering from the equivalent of PTSD with everything they have had to put up with.

It's so easy for fans of a bottom rebuilding team to latch onto their prospects and proclaim them all as future superstars.

Some have already mentioned but I remember people (likely the minority) saying that no way should we trade Al Jefferson AND Gerald Green for Kevin Garnett. Gerald Green was the next T-Mac and Jefferson was the next Mchale.

In general I agree that their ideas seem a little bit ridiculous. However, if a sports fan of another team came to this message board on a regular basis and read the trade ideas he would shake his head at us too.
