A friend told me about this last night. It's wild, especially because most people seem to generally equate THE START OF THE NBA with the beginning of professional basketball, which is not the case.

It would've been amazing to get his thoughts on the evolution of the game before he passed. Maybe someone already has, but I haven't seen it.
