And if not mistaken, we're about 1 hour and 15 minutes away for deals and free-agent signings capable of becoming official.

Though not sure if the Celtics have to wait a couple of more days to make the Garnett-Pierce trade... something to do with the Joseph contract?

Yes Joseph isn't eligible to be traded till the 12th I believe.

This is correct. Intrested in seeing how much more active the Cs become after the trade is officially processed. Untill then there is way too many moving peices in that deal for DA to do anything.

If DA is going to be active, I don't think we'll have to wait until that deal becomes official. I don't think he'll be waiting until the 2 days pass to be negotiating on a subsequent move if the opportunity is there.

But we'll see.

I just don't think he's in much of a hurry, I think he'll be waiting until most teams have exhausted their salary cap and most exceptions are use and see if what he can get for cheap from the FA crop.

Here's a thread on the trade being postponed to the 12th because of Kris Joseph with some cap analysis.
