I think Dwight made a mistake choosing the Rockets.

He would have had more help if he chose Golden State.
This could have been the line up.

Curry
Thompson or Barnes (depending on who gets traded)
Iggy
Lee
Howard

He would have shooters and guys that can create their own shot, a great solid defender in Iggy, a great rebounder in Lee.

Stupid move Dwight. Dwight is not very bright.
But Dwight is just being Dwight I guess. LOL

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
As a Warriors fan (as well) I am glad he did not choose the Warriors.

I get it, he's a better big man than Bogut and he fits perfectly, but what will happen if Klay, Steph and Lee all take away his shots? Will he pout too about not having enough shots? I hate the fact that he can ruin that great Warriors chemistry.

Bogut's only problem is his health, but I can live with him being our interior defender if he's always good to go over Dwight.

You've got a point. Dwight is definitely a huge loser. He will never win a Championship with him being the best player on his team. He is just a big immature kid.
He's a clown.

I think his prime was 2009 - 2010.

But if he turns out to be good Dwight Howard this year, and if he chose the Warriors, Curry and Klay would have TONS of open shots! And those dudes can knock down threes anywhere on the court. Would've been cool to see that.

I think Houston was by far the best choice for him. He will get to be mentored by both McHale and Olajuwon. That alone can help make him one of the greatest big men ever to play the game if he gets the right mindset and learns some actual post moves.

He also will fit in very well with the shooters/scorers the Rockets have. Howard needs some selfless shooters to spread the floor, which they have, and a legit go to guy who can create his own shot to take the pressure off him late in games, which is Harden.

I disagree.

GS has little room to maneuver thus why they needed to do a sign and trade.

Klay has to be moved unless all parties agree he's backing up Iggy.

Lee has been rumored to be available and with landry and jack likely gone, they lack a bench.

Houston has Harden and other young assets with plenty of cap space. I thought Houston was a no brainer.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

This got me thinking. Portland rejected a Lee-Rush trade for Aldridge, would they reconsider if it's Lee-Klay?
