If they can give him away for free, it's a good trade from Houston's end.

I won't praise Morey too much, though.  He's the one who drafted the kid in the first place.

Draft considerations = probably the right to swap 2nd rounders, or a heavily protected 2nd from Philadelphia.

Also:

Along with White, who clashed with the organization and never played a minute in the regular season, the Rockets will send the draft rights to an international prospect and cash.

Morey isn't getting anything in return for White: he's paying Philly to take him off the Rox's hands.

Royce White is one of the most unlikable personalities in the league. Good move for Houston. Could you imagine having both White and Howard on the same roster?! Drama queen central. They could invite Ray Allen while they're at it.
