I think PP needs his number retired ASAP, maybe before he leaves or first home game against NETS.    What about KG, I think he deserves to go into the rafters too.   Ray not so much for me.

I'd retire both numbers when the players retire.

In the meantime, nobody is wearing those jersey numbers, obviously.

They both might come back or at least PP for half season or 10 contract after their Nets run is done. I would wait a little. Not long after they are done, but they should be doe with basketball first.

Yes, this is the dream, when PP/KG return for Vet's minimum, playing 5-12 mins, completely fresh and battle ready, once the younger players are done, wearing out opponents with run & gun.

Then, the next couple of years will simply be remembered as 'The Hiatus'.
