Please forgive me if this is wrong, and I know Larry Bird didn't fight

And thank the lord Jordan never crossed the line.

But is Rondo the celtic we've been waiting for??????

Anyone can win a championship with 3 hall-of-famers, but can a 100% pass first PG lead us there? I don't know, but if I want anyone to test the water it is Rondo.

He has the same fight as Bird and Jordan.....Obviously different eras, but heart is heart. The only thing I can see go wrong with Rondo is he drop kicks the ball in KG's and Pierce's face and then takes a xxxx on docs chest.

What I'm saying is he has heart, he has fight, and he has....I almost want to say loyalty, and i believe if Pierce and KG would have stayed until retirement, then we would have one of the top 3 PG's in the league until life.

While it lasts you guys can enjoy a 8th seed at BEST. You have been dissing him since the begging of this season and when he leaves during reloading in the next 2 years (by the way, he is why any, if at all, free agents will come)

But I guess it's true. You don't know what you have till it's gone.

RIP 2008 Celtics.

Every year there are 6-7 teams with a lower winning percentage than our current record. I think we've gotten so used to ignoring the bottom feeders since 2008 that we've forgotten how bad some teams are.

You went a long way to make a simple point....that some folks will never get.

Rondo is the dude who came walking in off the side of the camera when Carmelo was jawing at K.G. Not Paul or anybody else just Rondo.

Yeah that's him shoving hump during a game where K.G. was catching lots of flack and unecessarry contact.  He is special and the reasons are the ones some cite as his weak point.

If we trade Rondo we are gonna regret it for a very long time.

I believe...this is just my opinion based on nothing.

I believe Doc was going to require Ainge trade Rondo (or he would not return) after a probable 2nd Rd exit while the getting was good. He woulda demanded it I believe as he doesn't seem to think he can get Rondo's respect now and cetainly not without PP and KG.

Rondo gets injured and the possibility of getting back fair value for R.R. is gone. So too is Doc's dream of a Celtics team in 2013/14 sans Rondo. I think when that reality set in Doc's desire to return disappeared.

I think Doc's decision was around that time.
