Good Riddance KG Pierce and Doc...HELLO TANK!!!!

This is an awesome day to be a C's fan. We dumped Terry's contract and KG who was about to become an albatross and Pierce's expiring for THREE count them THREE first rounders. Now if they could only deal Lee, Wallace and especially Rondo then this would be an awesome team by 2020. Even if we don't get Wiggins the top 5 is the best in the NBA since the LeBron draft. Bring back the lean years while developing an awesome young core. Hell bring in Antoine for a year to sell tickets. So happy that KG/Pierce are bleeding black and blue and not green anymore. Bring on the youth!

I liked the trade too...but show KG and Pierce some respect. Rubs me the wrong way. Don't like you, and I don't even know you.

I'm never gonna say good riddance to Pierce & Garnett.  Those two have done way too much for this organization and that's just a slap in the face. They were traded.  It's not like they skipped town or bad mouthed the Celtics in any manner.

I am still a fan of KG and Pierce, but a.) I hate the Nets and b.) I will be actively wishing the worst for them 2 years from now if they are still playing on that team.  I would be rooting against them next year too if that weird Atlanta pick swap thing wasn't in place

And another thing, Celticsblog was fantastic before the KG/Allen moves.  It was all diehards here and making weird trade ideas and getting way into the draft was a lot of fun for message board purposes.
