Can't wait to read all the irrationally defensive posts to come after this trade.

Can somebody still defend DA?!

I think Danny deserves a raise after orchestrating this deal.  Possibly one of the best moves of his career

another thing that sticks out is he is a man of his words. Few years back, he said unlike Red, he will not hesitate to trade his star players at the end of their careers for assets for the future. And guess what, he did, he traded for 3 1st round picks, and maybe more, depending how he plays his cards...

He is busting his ass trying to rebuild this team quick...as much as I hate to see them go, but it was necessary. Admit it, 38 KG will not be winning us a title anymore Rondo is coming back from an injury, and Paul Pierce plays like he is 90.

Though I must say, tickets next year might be cheap enough for me to buy season tickets :-p

There is a reason Ainge was the 2nd most hated player of the late 1980s, he is brought that same smart-ass attitude to GM. He is arrogant, immature and opposed towards his coach and players making stupid unnecessary remarks. He couldn't pull the trigger on one great trade after the Garnett deal. Teams that negotiate with him don't like him and players he tried to get don't like him. Until he is out of Boston, the Cs will never contend for a title, no one wants to play for him and this is very important. Now, his incompetence arrived at the bottom line. He is trying to knock down this team. I do not know how can somebody can still try to defend him.

::)
i remember when people were saying that after ainge got rid of antoine walker
all is well, its a move for the future and he isn't done

I dont see any similarity between Walker trade and PP+KG trade...
