this isnt being advertised well enough.  I had no idea we had brooks and joseph coming back as well.

Brooklyn has agreed to send three first-round picks (2014, '16 and '18) along with Kris Humphries' expiring contract, Gerald Wallace, Kris Joseph, MarShon Brooks and a sign-and-traded Keith Bogans to the Celtics for Pierce, Garnett and Terry, a source told Broussard.

Reggie Evans has three talents: rebounding, flopping, and growing a filthy-looking beard.  I don't particularly like Brooks, but he is a better trade asset.

This, and the fact that we can swap the 2017 first rounder with Brooklyn, makes this trade a little easier to stomach.

Probably for the best - we've got a logjam at 2 but Brooks is a better asset for the future.  And hey, maybe Joseph will get a shot at that backup 3 spot I wanted to see him grow into all along!

Also agree that the swap right could potentially be big as Pierce KG and JJ all are aging quickly.

fantastic return for two guys who might not be in the league next year.  Pierce could come back to Boston as a cheap free agent next year to retire a Celtic.  KG could be a coach next season.  Amazing return.
