Draft Pick Questions, Establishing Assets.

The link above is the source of some of my confusion. I'm trying to figure out our situation in the SECOND round of the draft, because we haven't had one in a long time and i'm never sure which ones we've traded and which ones we haven't.

If we do indeed tank next year, our second round pick could actually have a bit of value.

1. Do the celtics still own their second round pick in the 2014 draft, what about 2015?

2. Do the celtics also have the Brooklyn Nets second round pick (via Jajuan Johnson trade)?



I'm just making a little list right now of all our young assets, and I want it to be correct. I expect us to get a few more draft picks it in upcoming trades. We could find ourselves filling out our roster with young assets pretty quickly.

Just looking over the list. The bobcats have a real opportunity here if things fall their way (for once).

Possibly 3 first round picks in the 2014 draft? The detroit pick is top-8 protected and the Portland pick is top-12 protected. But there's a possibility charlotte ends up with one or both of those picks, along with a very really shot at landing wiggins.

Yeah, I think Pistons have a good chance of being higher than top 8, and Blazers should be a fringe playoff team next season as long as they upgrade their bench a bit.
