They now have #16 ,two 2015 picks , Bradley as their best low salary chips(not giving up a 2014 pick)

Guys I would look to target if we can

Len
McLemore
Noel
Oladipo
Porter
Bennett

I would give up Bradley and #16
or #16 and clippers 2015(likely 20-30)or maybe the c's pick

Any chance Danny goes this route to move up in what most think is a weak draft ?

Can we get into the top 5 in this draft? Yes, I think so. Is it worth it? I'm not so sure. It would cost more than Bradley and the 16 imo. I think trading our 2014 pick could land us a top 3 pick in this draft.

The question is, what do you guys expect on draft night from Danny, if anything? Do we move Pierce in a draft pick deal? Do we trade KG for picks and a player? Do we move up, down, or out of this draft?

I can see us going in any direction right now. I'd love to get Noel, but for the right price.

I would do that. Dragic is an excellent young pg, and Rondo is not going to lead this team to the next title, so getting Dragic plus #5 is a good start to rebuilding.

I was going to say that Rondo is the only chip Ainge has that is valuable enough to get into the top five of this year's draft. But that might not be accurate.

I think Jeff Green might have an outside shot at landing the Wizards pick. The number 3 pick. They need a small forward badly. They are likely to take Otto Porter there despite most predicting he'll be a role player. Green is young enough to be part of the John Wall + Bradley Beal future. I wonder if there is something to be done there.

Not sure if it's worth it, but with McLemore falling, it's certainly a possibility. I wouldn't trade up for anybody else though. Len will definitely be gone unless we somehow make a play for a top 2 pick, Noel is way overrated IMO, and none of Oladipo, Porter, and Bennett are worth the cost of trading up.

That's actually a very interesting proposal. Green would be able to go back to where he played college ball alongside a young nucleus, while Boston gets a pick where they can likely nab McLemore. I like it!

I don't see anyone worth trading up to get, weak draft.

exactly. trading to go up means going all in. Why would you go "all in" in the weakest draft ever? it makes no sense. What made you think this was a good idea?

moving up to the lotto is a carefully calculated decision that makes or breaks a franchise. Red Auerbach said he had planned to draft Len Bias for 3 years. We were picking at #2, had a guy we really wanted, the same year we won the championship

I never said anything about going all in (trading Rondo )

Well, this trade would certainly ensure that.
