Danny Green is a terrific story. Cut three times, kept chasing his dream, and his resiliency and perseverance have paid off.

Very happy for him.

Look who's not happy with it.

I love it! If the Spurs wrap this up, Ray also ends up without a ring from his trip to south beach, and may opt out of his contract this summer. Maybe he joins up with KG, Pierce, and Doc in LA?

Then KG punches him in the face. LOL

If spurs win he has a legit shot at getting the finals MVP between him and Parker

Green's had a great game and series but Ginobili did need to show up, and put up one of his all star games. This is the one. Finally, the Spurs are living up to their true potential as a unit. One more and it's over, LBJ and his drama queens can go fishing in Key West.

Great post.

Every shot Allen hit in that game p****d me off.

I'm glad someone broke his record.

Now, the Spurs just have to finish it off.  Easier written than done.

I did notice, despite my current hatred for Allen, that he doesn't seem as comfortable on Miami as he did on Boston and that he doesn't seem as "happy."  This is purely, speculation, but I think he knows, deep-down, that a championship in Miami won't bring him what he could have earned fighting the tough fight in Boston - a lasting legacy.  He'll have another ring, but he'll never have his number retired* and he'll never be invited to a Celtics event for the remainder of his life.

*If Miami retires his # after one championship, it'd be ridiculous, and it wouldn't have the meaning of him having earned it in Boston.
