What if we walked away? Would it be so bad?

I know doc doesnt want to be here anymore, can we promote Armond Hill to be our coach.

Tanking is not palatable for me. I know in my gut that we can rebuild on the fly like the spurs did.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

With what?   No Doc and people won't want to come to a cold weather city.   I hope you don't bet on your gut instincts often.

Trade Pierce to DAL for Marion + 2013 1st. No more games. Let them buy out Pierce, and let Pierce, KG, and Doc retire. Get the cap space, get a pick, and don't let the Clippers walk all over us and give us insulting offers.

The cold weather city stuff is over blown. The Celtics have never had a good ownership during the cap era nor have they had the cap space. You really think people care about the cold weather? Why do football players flock to the Patriots? Are you saying that only basketball players hate the cold? Winning and money solves EVERYTHING

let's add that basketball is played indoors, so hating the "cold" is a stupid reason imo..I get it if you were a football player but then again, football is usually played in the winter anyways so whatever lol

Nope, it wouldn't be a bad option.

Danny Ainge could look to make a trade with Pierce or J.Green to bring a high quality power forward like Josh Smith or Paul Millsap. Better balance the roster (than two SFs and big man hole around KG). A good draft pick. A free agent signing or two. Maybe a small trade with one of those SGs going out and a true backup PG coming back. Sully and Rondo back healthy. Hopefully Bradley improves once Rondo is back.

Bringing the guys back and making some changes to improve the quality of the roster isn't a bad option at all. There are things Danny can do to put a very strong team on the court next season.

Danny has quite a few good options. Different directions he can take.

I for one would be quite happy if he made the KG for D.Jordan and a 1st trade. I think that is a good route to go down too.
