He should be doing jail time.  I'm glad to finally see a case where a celebrity doesn't get preferential treatment, although it looks like he would have but for the butt pat.

I really dislike Chad Johnson, but really?  Jail time for that?  This judge is sending a man to jail for 30 days to pump up his own ego.  The plea deal either makes sense or it doesn't, stop trying to get your name in the papers and do your [dang] job.

After he was arrested for not meeting with his PO earlier last month or so, he started randomly showing up to the PO's house and sitting on his porch. He's always on Twitter talking about it.

The judge is sending a man to jail for failure to adhere to the terms of their probation. Whatever he plead to certainly starts making much less sense when you're horsing around with your lawyer in court.

The judge gave him 30 days for parole violation. Slaps on a butt are not punishable by law yet.
