It was established 67 years ago, on June 6th, 1946. Fitting that today's the first game of the NBA Finals.

Today's also the anniversary of D-Day in Europe, and the founding of Reddit, and the release of Tetris, and the birthday of nigahiga!

Here is a question. Did NBA become a business on June 6th? Or did the first season start on the 6th?

I am guessing its the former, but if its the latter, then imagine if the NBA season still started in June.

Football in winter, basketball in summer :D
