I don't like the guy 'cause he flops and he's dirty, but this improved my opinion of him just for a lil' bit. Not every superstar takes the time in the middle of the playoffs to accompany a fan to her prom night. He gets a little bit of respect from me.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

Um... this is kind of weird. I was expecting a cancer survivor or someone battling illness instead it is the popular pretty girl. This isn't something that improves my opinion of him at all.

I wonder how psyched her date was about the whole situation.

If this were Jeremy Lin, they'd be saying "Why doesn't he practice his jump shot instead?"

I'd be more impressed if Wade took a fat girl to the prom.

Come on, dude.  Be relevant to a blog about the Celtics.

If this were Rondo, half this blog would be saying "Why doesn't he practice his free throws instead?"

funny thing is he offered to escort her by taking her arm and she refused.  She didn't want him to wrench her elbow like he did to Rondo   8)
