(in losses)
8.9 ppg  40.6$ fg 29.5% 3pt

Jason Terry
2012-13
10.1 ppg 43.4% fg 37.2% 3pt

11.9 ppg 48.5% fg 43.5% 3pt

Their numbers are not very far off from each other, almost identical.
So one could say that if Terry sucked this year, Ray Allen sucked too.

I saw Ray make game winning shots for the Heat that I expected Terry to make for us. Give me Ray any day.

i don't compare both
on 3 point shooting ray wins this but...
spoelstra made a nice way on how to used ray allen
it can give them floor spacing for wade and lebron to hit jump shots, they spread the floor a lot, ray got some open look on 3's which spoelstra made a good job

terry on celtics need a guy who can help him on offense
pick n' rolls etc;
he can also spread the floor but, the ball is on rondo, he look for terry to circle around and find opening to hit 3's
its not working anymore
i want the terry with big man pf and center which he excels a lot,

ray is good on winning last second shots 3 points
but terry is more versatile on court,
i was wanting a pair of shavlik and terry pick n' roll which terry is good at...
mid-range shots where terry is good right now

he needs a guy who can give him open looks like tyson noah marc gasol pau gasol dirk, bradley is not a ball handler, barea and j-kidd in dallas helps terry a lot, terry needs rondo and 1 big man for pick n' rolls, if you watch every game where terry scores 20+ its all in mid-range jump shots, why would you force terry to hit 3's in a bad position,

look at ray allen he has all the open shots, nice move by heat coach, bad move by doc by not utilizing terry on his potential

i pick terry anytime, if you know how to used terry,
we already know what ray can do, he sucks on miami vs bulls. even though heat wins

i like to see this
rondo terry jefferson or gortat or varejao
terry will excel for sure

Terry won us games as well.

I would love to have Ray back too, but the stats say that we're not losing much without Ray Allen.

True.
Both Allen and Terry were a little bit of a disappointment this year.

agree...
i was also expecting shavlik to spread the floor
with lee attacking the inside and terry on 3 point shots and kg on offensive rebounds

ray allen is not missed here, good move by ainge acquiring these 2 players, good move,
problem is doc does not know how to utilized them in where they are good at...
even though we don't have a big, even kg and bass is pick n' pop, darko milicic might had help us in some ways

Shavlik can not and will not spread the floor, he is not a mid range threat, he doesnt have any midrange game at all. He is best utilized inside the paint to box out and get rebounds.

its terry not shavlik, and maybe shavlik can't really spread the floor

but terry needs shavlik for pick n' roll offense
