If available at 16,I hope the Celtics grab him. 6'11, 240Lbs, Athletic, good rebounder and defender, played 4 years for Coach K...17 ppg, 10 ppg, 1.4blk last year.
His offense needs some work and he could use a little more bulk, but overall, I think he could step in right away and give the Celtics some good minutes.
I'm really not too optimistic about the Fab Melo project... He may have good size and athleticism, but his low BBIQ is going to hinder his development immensely. If the Celts are able to acquire a 2nd rounder, they should roll the dice on Kenny Kadji out of Miami.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
G Deng definitely looks like a better candidate, and I feel we should pursue him. Mason Plumlee looks like a good choice, but he has alot of flaws that would take a few years to develop. We'd want someone who can learn quick, has good moves, and is almost NBA ready. In the off chance KG is here next year, Deng can definitely learn alot from him.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different
