if you are a gm of a team, they offer you bass 3 years 20million... would you do it?
lets say al jefferson for brandon bass?
big al can rebounds but low defense
bass can't rebounds but good on defense

as a GM of the other team is that trade appealing to you?
or you want more?
add bradley sully or even green?

in this case, maybe same players are in our line-ups next year and just hope for a lucky draft?

or hope kg and pierce retires? (kg retires, we still need to pay kg, pierce retires still at hard cap)

or just stick with timofey mozgov? greg oden? cole aldrich? etc etc; who only gets 3million below?

with our said remaining salary cap? (6 or 3 million i think)

look...guys...

bass for gortat
suns got bass/scola (no center?)
bass for al jeff
jazz got millsap/bass (with favors and kanter)
bass for varejao
cleveland got thompson/bass (green for varejao? they have no small foward)
bass for smith (if kg got injured moved smith as center?)
green for smith (pierce injured moved smith to small forward? sully as PF, back-up by shavlik?

or add lee as filler
so we are left with
bradley/terry as our shooting guards?

celtics team become much worst

so
is trading bass for millsap jefferson smith varejao gortat, satisfy other teams?

I wish it would be that easy.   But I am guessing no unless they think a guy is going to walk, it won't happen unless we throw in parts like Lee.

this is really hard and tricky...
i was thinking same line-up might happen next year
that is why danny talked with oden,
even kg retires we still need to pay him..even pierce retires we are still at hard cap, sigh! SMH

the only thing im concerned of is, danny ainge giving pierce his max contract, if he will do it...pierce is very loyal i know he wants to stay for next year, kg has no trade clause,

as a gm bass is not enough...maybe he will trade green and bradley and lee any of those 3...
even you combined bass + terry, i will not accept that deal

Good.  A lot of our problems this year were due to having all new line-ups.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
