OK...Bring it on.  Can we at least get the joy of a hypothetical "we're still better than the Lakers" cry.

If they started a 14th place, head to head, 7 game series tomorrow.  Who wins?

For whatever it's worth. Lakers would have home court.

I say Celts in 6.  Why not?  No Kobe, and you know Howard wouldn't give a rat's fanny.

Shavlik with the double-double average takes series MVP.

...now back to the depressing reality
Yup

Yeah, we would win but who would really care and who would want to watch?

It would be pretty depressing.  But let's, for the sake of fantasy, imagine that winning this series would be of some importance.
Yup

The Lakers would dominate the Celtics inside.  MWP would defend Pierce and the Lakers' crappy point guards wouldn't get exposed because the Celtics don't have the talent in the backcourt to do it.

I think it would go 6, maybe 7 games.

Given how badly this Boston team is currently playing, if they were to play right now, I think the Lakers would win it in 5 or 6 games.

when i fantasize, i fantisize big.  ;D

celtics win the best of 7 in 0 games when the lakers' bus crashes disabling the entire team and making them forfeit the series before the first gam3.

but since that wasnt one of the options given....celtics in 4.

go celtics, stomp LA!!!!!

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, honestly, I'm not sure this Celtics team would win a 7 game series against many of the lottery teams right now.  Maybe Charlotte or Orlando.

I don't think LA is gonna make it to the Finals. When we get there, we'll probably meet the Spurs or maybe even the Warriors.

LOL did you even read his post dude? He was speaking hypothetically if we were to meet the LAKERS in the finals, who would win. What does the Spurs or Warriors have to do with anything?

Smh.

But anyways, I think we would beat the Lakers in this series. I feel like we are a much better team than we have shown so far in this Knicks series.
