before starting on my question
everyone of us want's to see a big man next year
and some of us are predicting that kg and pierce will retire

what if...kg did not retire and not traded (no trade clause)
and pierce came back (resign)
we are still in salary cap

so as everyone expecting danny ainge to get a big man next season, but we are in still in hard salary cap, so the best way is by trading some of our players

terry sign for huge salary 3 years (awful season)
bass 6 million, almost 20 million, (3 years) can't rebounds
fab melo (not nba ready but d-league ready)
wilcox (good when rondo was around) no defense
no one will take those china guys either even as a trade fillers (white DNP)

so by trading any of them, with that kind of performances, is there any GM in nba league that will take that kind of salary with an awful performances?

lets say al jeff trade to bass who can't even rebounds?
gortat a low post scorer for bass? pheonix got scola already?
injury proned varejao but double-double machine guy when healthy, for a super healthy bass who can't even rebounds?

the only players that any teams in nba might have interest here is bradley rondo pierce kg sully (is danny ainge willing to trade them, and also us fans to see them go somewhere?)

or...
trade bass for a cheaper power forward (example)
kevin seraphin (3million), anthony randolph (1.5million) or someone etc;
(salary dump)
and have at least half of bass salary to steal a free agent big man like mozgov or oden?

so our line-up would be
(lets say)

rondo
bradley
pierce
sull/seraphin or a. randolph
kg/mozgov or oden

with those reserves
lee, terry, crawford, shavlik green etc;

i don't see ainge trading pierce or kg just to get us a descent legit big man
(that's an insult right?)

he passed on k-mart, blatched, evans, birdman
now trading one of our veterans just to get 1 descent center?

if no trades happens another nightmare for us next year..and since kg is banging with tyson dwight noah hibbert typed of guys (kg might get injured again)

as for the trade maybe houston or denver or bobcats needs a descent pf in return

again no hating..good topic

It could happen, I would not want to retire like this...

But I think we have to deal Terry, he has been horrible.  He would be cut if there was justice in this world.

my thoughts on terry is no one will take 3 years (awful performance)

either amnesty a player bass terry or someone...
but if someone who can help terry for pick n' roll where he is good at, i will take him, terry for mayo or someone, never gonna happen, if its ray allen, any GM without second thoughts, (deal accepted)

i was thinking the only way is by either one of them retiring, or forced trade to someone

a lot of the fortunes for C's will be based on two things,  how well Rondo returns , and how Sully 's back recovers.

I think there is a good chance PP and KG stay.......just don't see a trade bringing back value.

a good draft pick would really really be nice to have .......we need some LUCK.

- If KG and PP were to stay, retain the young guys on the rookie contract not including Crawford.
- resign Barbosa and Darko.
- try to sign and gamble on bigs (Mozgov,Oden)
- see if we land some big fish on FA via sign and trade (Jsmoove, Milsap, Big Al, Gortat)
- pray for a jackpot in the draft.
- keep Green

really? injured barbosa from torn acl with 30+ age hhmm
darko always DNP (coming back?)

smith? millsap? al jeff? gortat? for? bass (who can't rebounds) terry (who can't shoot)
the only ways to get those players is by trading bradley green lee pierce kg sully which is not gonna happen for sure, as my post thread slight trade, like huge salary player for small salary player (best idea)

if he's horrible, then who will want him?  We need to use common sense people.

Danny will have his hands full this offseason. That will be a busy brotha.

If Oden can stay healthy I would love for Danny to try him out and if Darko is willing to come back Danny should resign him as well as Barbosa.

And whether both KG and Pierce stays or not, Danny will have to address this teams needs. I don't know what magic tricks Danny can pull off but "In Danny We Trust" right?

darko will not get any minutes for sure...trust doc...
and barbosa can't be so active barring that torn acl
