We also lost last year game one and won without Rondo on the road. So yes it is possible to win and yes the knicks are better then the hawks, but if we can dig in on D just as hard as they did Saturday and get some production from the bench it will be 1-1 going into Boston.

This years Boston team without rondo is better then last years team without rondo. The Knicks aren't healthy either with amare out and chandler looking like a walking corpse.

Except we also had a Paul Pierce that was three years younger as well as a younger KG. Early 30s versus mid 30s is a big difference.

I know KG was younger but was he really healthier back in the 2010 playoffs compared to now? I think he was just one year removed from his knee surgery back then. I think the best he's looked since his surgery was actually in last year's (2012) postseason.

No, KG was dragging his bad leg around that year.

Though I do think that the Boston Celtics are more than capable of winning this series I don't think, however, that this team is at the same level as the 2010 squad that was a few bad calls away from winning it all against the LA Lakers in game 7 of that season's finals. Still a solid team, though.
