Not sure if anyone cares or knows but tha Cavaliers may be looking to replace Byron Scott as Head Coach and It's reported that they've reached out to Phil Jackson as i'm sure other teams have or will. If this has some truth to it and if Phil takes tha job I think that will finally turn that franchise around. It's also reported that tha Cavs and Mike Brown have mutual interest in a reunion.

Mike Brown seems to be more realistic to me because if PJ  want to come back and coach he'll definitely be approached by other teams with more appealing rosters than what tha Cavs currently have to offer. But you never know. Maybe he wants to coach Kyrie Irving. I personally would like to see him coach tha Sonics if tha Kings are moved to Seattle.

Any thoughts?

Phil Jackson inherits ready-made champions, so I doubt he takes on the Cavs job.

I don't think Phil Jackson will be interested in the Cleveland squad. This roster doesn't suit his system. Neither does Kyrie Irving.

Cleveland would be better off looking in another direction.

Can't see Phil Jackson accepting a job to coach and live in Cleveland.

Perhaps to act as a GM, via Skype.

I think Phil is still a little hurt he lost the Laker job to D'Antoni, and these rumors are his way of telling Mitch Kupchak that Mitch ought to remember his number.

Especially if the Lakers get swept.

Phil only coaches stacked winners, it is a fact.  This team might require actual coaching.

He is a personality manager not a coach.  Tex Winters was the coach.

Kyrie?

Considered that, but he's not enough. Even if he does someday become a Jordan/Kobe-level player, he isn't there yet, and he also has no legit "sidekick" a lá Pippen, Shaq, or Gasol.

Phil will want at least two sure-fire Hall of Famers, plus several above-average role players.
