I still believe - Rebounding and Randolph

So game one is done and dusted and for the most part it went according to plan. The Knicks took some incredibly bad shots and missed a tonne as expected. These should have turned into C's possession but they did not because if one thing. The Celtics do not even try to rebound and instead of gaining possession we had the Knicks getting 3 even 4 chances to make their shots.

There are a couple of things I have noted Shavlik Randolph is not a good player and he knows this so he works hard on the simple things like rebounding. We have seen this rub off on Bass and Wilcox. The Celtics really need to box out and reboound! Shavlik as limited as he is needs to play.

Also I get Docs approach with regards to defending against plays in transition by sacrificing offensive boards but surely there is a way to do both.

The Knicks are not a team the Celtics can't beat they are very limited but the C's did make them look good out there.

Agreed, though we may not see Doc put him in until the C's are down in the series 3-0.
