Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett will not play against the Heat on Friday because os sore left ankles.
Both players did go on the road trip so it's possible each will play on Saturday against the Magic, but that's not set in stone yet. Without both Pierce and Garnett in the lineup, it will be the Jeff Green show vs. Miami with Boston mixing up their starting lineup to match whatever B-team the Heat roll out.

Might as well rest them.  There's nothing to be gained by playing them, as we're pretty much locked into the 7th seed, at this point.
