played best game of the year without Kobe, and beat a very good Pacers team.

DH definitely embraced is role as the leader of the team.

First, the Celtics are better without Rondo

Now, the Lakers are better without Kobe?  ::)

IF they were serious about rebuilding, they would trade Kobe for someone to pair with Howard, and let Gasol stay on the team. Gasol, Howard, Nash would work very well together, and Nash could mentor a successor at PG if they were to trade Kobe for a talented young PG.

It makes no sense to get rid of Gasol and push Howard away just to keep an aging Kobe happy.

Lakers could dominate for a long time if they move Kobe to a contender for good pieces that can help them for years.

James Worthy pointed out on Laker post-game that there was better ball movement for the Lakers with ball-hogging (my words) Kobe out of the game.

The Heat are better without Lebron. That's one you should be fearing the most to hear now.

Add D'Antoni to that list, and all you get is a bunch of "FALSE"

this may be exactly what the Lakers need to continue rising in the standings. look at us minus Rondo. Whatever yall think the reason is...but Dwight actually being able to be the leader without someone hissing at him. Ha...yes. I can see them being better.

If they'd only unloaded him fifteen years ago they would probably have eight to ten championships instead of only five.

Kobe caught it from Rondo.
