Surprised to see that an NBA team would consider freeing up space to acquire the best player in the league. Wonder if other teams will follow?

Seems risky.

ESPN: where absolutely no facts make up a story. This thing is absurd. Yes, LeBron could opt out in 2 years, and the Lakers may have a lot of cap space then. That doesn't constitute a story in any way. I hate ESPN.

Not surprising. The Heat will be in salary cap hell, Wade's creaky knees will be even creakier (turning 33 during that season), James isn't the most loyal guy around, and he'll be able to play with a in his prime Howard under bright lights of LA.

In 2 years of time the Kings will relocate to Seattle who just recently approved a budget for an arena. Moving another team to the Pacific Northwest. Who else is in the pacific north west? NIKE. HEADQUARTERS.

Ugh. Ugly. If they do succeed in bringing the Sonics back (which is my hope and it looks like it's happening, in some way or another, soon) I'd like to think that that (LBJ in SEA) will never happen.

Or were you thinking POR?
