Dear Mr. Rondo:

It is your time!! The Celtic Nation led by our fearless and tireless leader, Danny Ainge, has now constructed a team for you. Young athletic wings that can run and gun and finish off your brilliant assists.

This team is NOW YOUR TEAM. Embrace it, accept it, and run with it. Show the world you can carry a team. You have nothing to prove to me, but you may want to show the NBA brass that you are the real deal. I know you were dissed for the Olympic team, you do not get calls from the refs. This is your chance to change all of that. All you have to do is spemd all summer honing the only dent in your game - your jump shot.. Just spend time in the gym to develop a reliable jumper and foul shot, and I can guarantee you that the MVP trophy will be yours.

Come on Rajon, lets do this!!!!

As a die-hard fan, I catch more grief than any one about my feelings re: Rondo. Nothing would make me happier than to see him win the MVP and shut up all the haters & doubters.

I know you got that jumper in you, Rondo. When need be, just let it go with confidence...
and without a conscience, a la everyone on the summer league team

Yes, if Rondo can shoot 70% from the line and be more consistent with his outside jumper, he is MVP material.

Why can't you be a little more like Johnathan Gibson or Jamar Smith?

Gibson and Smith have been acting like Gibson and Smith respectively. Look how far they got themselves and the team...

I guess sarcasm is kind of hard to read without the smiley faces.

Oh haha.

Did not say he doesn't need a jumper though. Just pointing out where his polar opposites have gotten so far...and how it puts Rondo's skillset in perspective.

Please don't become another Rondo bash vs. Rondo support thread  :-X

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

What if Lebron James, Kevin Durant, and all the other candidates took an arrow to the knee?
I like Marcus Smart

That's a pretty bold statement coming from someone who thinks that practically any pg in the league could do what Rondo does. Shouldn't you think he'd never even make it into the voting?
