I can see why we'd want Fisher....Your first choice for guy on a team where it's been desleazed....Is to get a first class cheapshot artist who renegs on his contract to go where he wants.

The guy's a jerk.

I don't know why we'd waste our last roster spot on a guard when we have 5 in Rondo, Bradley, Lee, Terry, and Pierce. Rondos gonna play 37-40 minutes a game. Maximum we need to fill 11 minutes. If Terry, Lee and Pierce (and eventually Bradley) can't fill 11 minutes at the point then we need to trade a SG for a legitimate backup PG.

We are weakest at the wing area with AB being out and Joseph being a rookie. I wouldn't mind Pietrus for the minimum again even though he wants more. He's a great locker room guy and has lots of ability on the defensive end. He can't possibly shoot any worse than he did last season and he still pretty much won us a playoff game last season with 2 huge offensive rebounds in OT. More bodies to throw at lebron? Yes please.

If Pietrus won't come Josh Howard is a good alternative. Whoever signs for the minimum. I'd like to save the BAE for midseason. We are still $2.67 below the apron and that gives us the flexibility to cut someone midseason and use the BAE to patch a hole if need be. Actually we have a little more room than the minimum but Danny is probably watching the salaries for next season to stay out of Luxury Tax hell.

Yeah, I like Josh Howard too. I think he'd work really well alongside Pierce and/or Jeff Green in a big wing combination. A power based wing combo.

And can provide insurance behind them too.
