Rondo and Sullinger.  That is what I see it taking to get Aldridge (plus maybe their back up point gaurd, whoever that is).  And even at that, I am not sure Portland does it.

Still want Aldridge?  (For the record, I would make this trade as  I feel it would be a win for the Celtics).

I agree, price would be too high. After all, only Fakers can get an all-star PF/C in his prime for a bunch of scrubs.

Portland would not do that because of the obvious elephant - he's too old. LMA's in his prime. The thing is, KG has a bigger impact in the game and is more valuable still - but only we see that.

I believe in our team right now, at this moment. I think if our starters can play like they did last year against Miami and with our retooled bench, we can beat Miami. Everything is going well for our basketball team. There is no need to ruin the chemistry with a trade.

I admire LA , he's a great player, like everyone else has said , I wouldn't give up KG or Rondo this year. 

I think Josh Smith would all about being a Celtic , and could be obtained for a trade that wouldn't breakup up Pierce, Garnet and Rondo.( part of the reason he'd want to play in Boston to begin with)

SO I'm content to step back, wait see how Green , Bass , Lee and Sully work out.

We are loaded for BEAR this year or Heaters...

The only way Portland even listens and has a conversation about LA is if Danny says Rondo can be part of the package. Other than that, the Celtics would have no shot.
